Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 15, 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms“) form a legally binding agreement between Global Overview SL (“H24 Psychology,” “we,” “us” or “our“) and each user (“you“) who accesses or uses our websites, apps, and related online services that link to these Terms (the “Site“). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and, if you use telepsychology services, our Notice of Privacy Practices (HIPAA).

If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) Overview & Eligibility

  • The Site provides educational content, tools (e.g., quizzes), directories/matching, and telepsychology features (video, messaging, scheduling) where available.

  • You must be 18+ (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. Users under 13 are not permitted. Users 13–17 may use non‑clinical content only with parental/guardian supervision.

  • You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws of your location.

2) Medical Disclaimer & Emergencies

  • Content on the Site is for informational purposes only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not rely on the Site to make medical decisions.

  • If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, call local emergency services immediately. The Site is not suitable for emergencies.

3) Accounts & Security

  • You agree to provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.

  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized use: privacy@h24psychology.com.

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or risk to the Site/others.

4) User Content; Community & Content Standards

  • You may submit content (e.g., posts, messages, reviews, profile info) (“User Content“). You retain ownership but grant H24 Psychology a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, store, reproduce, modify for formatting, and display your User Content to operate and improve the Site. You may delete your User Content; we may retain copies as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

  • Standards: Do not post illegal, harmful, hateful, discriminatory, pornographic, violent, infringing, or deceptive material; no doxxing, impersonation, or unauthorized commercial solicitations.

  • We may remove User Content that violates these Terms.

5) Provider/Clinician Content & Relationship

  • Clinicians and contributors remain independent professionals and are not employees or agents of H24 Psychology. We do not practice medicine or psychology, and we do not control clinical judgment.

  • Listings or profiles do not constitute endorsement. You are responsible for choosing a clinician and verifying qualifications.

6) Telepsychology Services

  • Telepsychology features (video, messaging, scheduling, payments) may be provided by H24 Psychology and/or third‑party platforms (e.g., Zoom for Healthcare, Doxy.me, Bunny.net). Use is subject to these Terms and our HIPAA Notice when applicable.

  • You agree to use a private environment and compatible devices; do not record sessions without consent and applicable law.

  • No insurance billing unless explicitly stated. Fees are shown before purchase; Stripe processes payments. We do not store full card numbers.

7) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • access or scrape the Site via bots/crawlers not permitted by robots.txt;

  • probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities; introduce malware; disrupt or overload the Site;

  • copy, frame, or mirror the Site except as allowed by law;

  • reverse engineer the Site’s software except as permitted by applicable law;

  • use the Site for unlawful, misleading, or abusive purposes.

8) Intellectual Property; Copyright Notice & Takedown

  • The Site and its content are owned by H24 Psychology or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for your User Content, you may not use our trademarks without permission.

  • If you believe that material available on the Site infringes your copyright, please send us a written notice including:

    • your name, address, email, and signature;

    • identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;

    • identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail to locate it on the Site;

    • a statement of good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized;

    • a statement that the information provided is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

We will respond promptly to valid takedown requests in accordance with applicable law.

9) Third‑Party Services & Links

We may link or integrate third‑party services (e.g., payments, video, analytics, ads). Their terms and privacy policies govern those services; we are not responsible for them.

10) Fees, Cancellations & Refunds

  • Fees (where applicable) are displayed before you purchase. Taxes may apply.

  • Cancellations: Sessions canceled more than 24 hours in advance may be eligible for a refund. Cancellations within 24 hours or missed sessions are non‑refundable.

  • Refunds: Except where required by law or our posted policy, fees are non‑refundable once services are rendered.

11) Changes to the Site & Terms

We may modify or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; the Effective Date shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted, and continued use means acceptance.

12) Warranties & Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT/SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE ERROR‑FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

13) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, H24 PSYCHOLOGY AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED US$100 (OR, FOR EEA/UK CONSUMERS, THE AMOUNT REQUIRED BY MANDATORY LAW).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g., fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence in jurisdictions where such limits are not permitted).

14) Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless H24 Psychology and its affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15) Governing Law; Dispute Resolution

A. United States Users

  • Governing law: New York, USA (excluding conflicts rules).

  • Arbitration & Class‑Action Waiver: Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the AAA under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. No class or representative actions. Venue: New York, NY, unless the AAA rules or law allow remote proceedings. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first acceptance by emailing privacy@h24psychology.com with subject “Arbitration Opt‑Out” and your account email and name.

B. EEA/UK Consumers

  • Governing law: Spain or your country of residence where required by mandatory consumer law.

  • Venue: courts of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, without prejudice to your mandatory rights to bring claims in your country.

16) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any breach or risk. You may stop using the Site at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations, dispute resolution) survive termination.

17) Miscellaneous

  • Severability: If a term is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.

  • No waiver: Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver.

  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign per law.

  • Language: These Terms are provided in English and may be translated. In case of conflict, the English version controls, except where local law requires otherwise.
